You’ve got a date in the diary. Let’s get the story ready first.

Launch and raise gives you one clear story, told the same way to investors, customers and press, plus the materials to tell it. We work back from your date, so nothing important is left until the week before.

A date in the diary. A story that isn’t finished.

For founder-led businesses heading into a launch, a funding round or any big moment in public. If two or more of these sound like you, you’re in the right place.

  1. 01 The launch, pitch or investor meeting is booked and the story still changes depending on who tells it
  2. 02 Your deck, your website and your LinkedIn each describe a slightly different business
  3. 03 Investors, customers and press all need to hear something different and you’re not sure what
  4. 04 Your brand was built for the business you used to be
  5. 05 You’d rather get it right once than fix it in public

Want the longer version?

Read about this symptom

One story. Told the same way everywhere.

A launch or a raise squeezes months of thinking into a few moments of attention. Here’s what you get, so those moments count.

01

The story

We find the plain, confident version of what you’re building and why it matters now, then test it against the questions you’ll actually be asked.

02

The versions

Investors, customers, partners and press each get the version that’s right for them. Every one of them is clearly the same story.

03

The materials

Your deck, website pages, announcement, press notes, launch emails and social posts, made from the agreed story and ready on time.

04

The launch plan

What goes out when, to whom and where, worked back from your date so nothing important is left to the last week.

We make the work ourselves, so nothing gets lost between the people who shaped the story and the people who put it on the slides.

We work back from your date.

Four stages, always in this order. The story is agreed before anything gets made, so you’re not rewriting slides the night before.

01

Start from the date

We map everything that has to be ready and work back from your launch or raise, so you can see the whole run at a glance.

02

Pin down the story

We talk to you and your team, look hard at your market and your audiences, then write the core story in plain words. You sign it off before anything gets made.

03

Make the materials

Deck, pages, announcement and the rest, all built from the agreed story so everything matches.

04

Rehearse and launch

We pressure-test the pitch with you, then run the launch plan alongside you, including the day itself.

Three things that outlast launch day.

The day itself goes quickly. These stay with you long after it.

  1. 01 A story you can tell in one sentence and defend for an hour So the first question in the room doesn’t knock it over.
  2. 02 Materials that all say the same thing Deck, website, announcement and social, so nobody has to guess which version is current.
  3. 03 A launch plan you can run again For the next round, the next product or the next big moment.

Two heads, one story.

You work with both of us from the first conversation to launch day. One of us keeps the strategy honest, the other makes sure it sounds like a human said it.

Vanya

Strategy, digital & the big picture

Vanya shapes the story so it stands up to scrutiny, works out who needs to hear which version and plans the launch back from your date.

Masha

Story, language & the human bit

Masha finds the words, so your deck, your announcement and your website all sound like one confident business that sounds like you.

And a second pair of eyes

Rupert Cruise, our senior adviser, co-founded Magway and helped take it to a £71 million valuation. When your investor story needs a hard look from someone who’s been on the founder’s side of that table, he gives it one.

The questions you’re probably asking.

And straight answers. If yours isn’t here, ask us on the fit call.

When should we get in touch?

As soon as the date is set. The earlier we start, the more of the work we can do properly rather than quickly.

Do you write and design pitch decks?

Yes. We write and design the deck from the agreed story, so your slides, your website and your announcement all say the same thing.

Do you do PR?

We prepare the announcement, the press notes and the angles. If you need a PR agency to pitch journalists, we brief them properly, so they’re telling your story rather than their version of it.

What if our brand isn’t ready for the launch?

We’ll tell you early whether it needs a refresh or can carry the launch as it is. If it needs work, we fit it into the plan rather than moving your date.

Will you be there on the day?

Yes, if you’d like us to be. We run the launch plan alongside you and handle the changes that always come up on the day.

How is this different from hiring an agency for the launch?

You get the thinking and the making from the same two people, so the story doesn’t get diluted on its way from strategy to slides.

What happens after the launch?

Everything we made is yours to keep. If you’d like senior help afterwards, a Senior marketing lead can pick up where the launch leaves off.

Tell us the date. We’ll work back from it.

Book a 20-minute fit call. We’ll ask what’s coming and when, then tell you honestly what’s realistic in the time you have.
