What we don’t do. And why that’s good news for you.

We’re a senior marketing and creative studio, not an agency. Here’s where we draw the line, so you can tell quickly whether we’re the right people for you.

Four things we won’t do.

Each one is a choice we’ve made on purpose, with what you get instead.

  1. 01

    Produce AI-generated content at scale

Volume isn’t the problem most founders have. Being understood is.

Instead: Every piece is written by one of us. AI helps with research and legwork, never the thinking. There’s more on that below.

  2. 02

Make the work before we understand the problem

A beautiful campaign aimed at the wrong thing is still aimed at the wrong thing.

Instead: We start with your numbers, your customers and your team. Only then do we agree what to make.

  3. 03

Pretend marketing is the answer when it isn’t

If what’s really in the way is pricing, product or people, we’ll tell you in the first conversation, even if it means less work for us.

Instead: A short, ranked plan that includes what to stop doing and what to leave well alone.

  4. 04

Put an account manager between you and the work

The people you meet on the fit call are the people who do the thinking and the making.

Instead: Your whole brief stays with the founders. As we grow, anyone new on your work will be introduced to you first and we stay responsible for everything they do.

48%

of clients who left an agency cited dissatisfaction with delivery, more than any other reason. Agencies ranked it seventh.

It’s also why you work directly with the two people doing the thinking and the making.

How we use AI.

The same way a good studio uses any tool: to do the legwork faster, so we can spend more time on the thinking that actually changes things for you.

We use it for

  • Research and summarising what’s already out there
  • First drafts that we then rewrite properly
  • Checking, tidying and organising
  • Seeing how AI assistants currently describe your business

We don’t use it for

  • Your strategy and positioning
  • Your story and the way your business sounds
  • Deciding what matters and what to leave out
  • Anything that goes out without one of us reading it first

We just don’t ask AI to do the thinking you’re paying us for.

Sound like the right kind of studio?
